Public Health Nurses provide a variety of services to support maternal, child and family health; communicable disease; school health; and health promotion. Beyond physical health care they can also provide support for planning a pregnancy; pregnancy and post partum mood disorders; breastfreeding drop-in clinics; family life education and much more. The RISE Program provides free legal resources and support to people who have experienced sexual or intimate partner violence and workplace sexual harassment.

The RISE Program supports anyone on PEI who is 16 years of age or older. They provide:

  • Trauma-informed legal advice
  • Plain language legal information

  • Referrals to community services
